Class Limit: 25<\/p>\n

March 15th \u2013 Registration Deadline<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tuesday, March 22nd:<\/span>
\nRequired Trainee Orientation and First Class
\n8:30am to 12:30pm at The AgriLife Extension Office in Belton<\/p>\n

Followed by a potluck luncheon<\/p>\n

Classroom Training:<\/span>
\nClasses are on Tuesdays, March 22nd through June 4th usually starting at 8:30am (excluding holiday breaks).\u00a0 Classes will be in person and online<\/p>\n

Field Trips:<\/span>
\nThree 6-hour Saturday field trips will be held that require travel and face to face contact. All CDC and State Covid protocols will be in place.<\/p>\n

For existing members<\/strong> – If you haven’t been to one of the offered classes or would like to attend the field trips, you may participate and acquire AT hours for the class, but you must RSVP ahead of time. \u00a0If the activity requires an admission fee, you will be responsible for that cost.\u00a0 Email our Training Class Coordinator<\/a> with questions or to RSVP for the AT.<\/p>\n

The Texas Master Naturalist Program\u2019s mission is to develop a corps of well-informed volunteers to provide education, outreach, and service dedicated to the beneficial management of natural resources and natural areas within their communities for the State of Texas.<\/p>\n

What does it take to be a Texas Master Naturalist?<\/h3>\n

Texas Master Naturalists not only get their feet wet and their hands dirty,\u00a0but while doing so they spend time in a natural setting, learn about different plant and animal species, and maybe even find something new: one member, in fact, discovered a new plant species.<\/p>\n

To become a Texas Master Naturalist, each volunteer:<\/strong><\/p>\n
