All Day Archaeology Study at Arrowwood Preserve
Join in exploring to the natural and cultural history of the Arrowwood Preserve! This Public Archaeology Day will focus on the land use and cultural history of Spring Creek.
This 60-minute site visit will include opportunities to observe and interact with ASH&E archaeologists as they conduct field investigations, work with archaeologists to screen and identify artifacts, and learn basic field methodologies. The visit will include a discussion on general archaeological topics, as well as the history of the people who resided on Spring Creek. There will be four guided hikes offered. Registration is required and the group size will be limited.

Time: Four sessions:
Session One : 8:00 – 9:00am /
Session Two: 9:45 – 10:45 am
Location: Arrowwood Preserve
Required Supplies: Water (at least 48 oz), close-toed shoes, long sleeve pants and shirt, gloves
Recommended: A bag for your water, snacks, etc. Insect repellent/sun protection
Event is ages 16+. There is NO restroom or water available on site.
