Highland Lakes Native Plant Society Level 1 Native Landscape Certification @ Marble Falls Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 1101 Bluebonnet Drive

The Highland Lakes Chapter of the Native Plant Society of Texas is hosting a Level 1 Native Landscape Certification Class on Saturday, September 29, 2018. The class will be at the Marble Falls Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 1101 Bluebonnet Drive from 8:30-4:30.

Learn about value of including and preserving native plants in landscapes
Learn Central Texas vegetation and soil types.
Learn environmental advantages of native plants
Learn 45 native plants for your landscape and 5 exotic species to avoid.

Each class includes classroom information and a 2 hour outside native plant knowledge walk. Completion certificates presented at the end of class. A competency certificate upon passing an optional end of day test.
This class has been approved by the Texas Nursery and Landscaping Association (TNLA), Texas Master Naturalists (TMN), and Texas Master Gardeners for advanced education credits.
