10th International Monarch Monitoring Blitz – This weekend!

THIS WEEKEND!

The 10th annual International Monarch Monitoring Blitz is underway. If you’ve already submitted a sighting (or more), thank you! If not, there’s still time to get involved. From now through the end of the day Sunday, get outside, look for monarchs and milkweed plants, and report your observations to Journey North.

Through the first week of the Blitz, we’ve received over 2,000 reports of monarchs and milkweed. We took a look at a few of them in our latest Journey North news report. Click here to read our latest update.

At the end of the Blitz, all sightings will be shared with our Blitz partners to provide a snapshot of monarch and milkweed distribution across North America. The fun also doesn’t have to stop when the Blitz concludes on Sunday. You can report sightings of monarchs at any time of year. We’re already looking forward to seeing your reports for the rest of the month and watching the fall migration begin.
