THE BASIC TRAINING DESIGN FOR 2021
FLEXIBLE. ADJUSTABLE. SMART. FUN. MOBILE. SCIENTIFIC. EXPERIENTIAL. NATURAL.
Historically, the Hill Country Chapter of the Texas Master Naturalist Program has provided required lecture topics and field trip experiences for 18 years to new Texas Master Naturalist students.
The 2020 New Class Committee had prepared a super exciting version of this curriculum for the fall of 2020. And…… it was postponed due to the many COVID-19 pandemic restrictions.
What is a Class Committee to do?
Regroup. Strategically plan. Analyze our communities. Commit to the 31 students registered for the postponed fall course. Learn from other TMN chapters in the state. Study the options. Learn to Zoom.
And just like the butterflies, the birds, the native grasses, drought-tolerant natives and trees, we found our ground, laid out seeds of possibility, nurtured our ideas, generated a plan and began our work again.
