Event Description:
NOTE: You must be Core trained for a minimum of 6 months and at least 14 years of age to attend this training. Any minors (under the age of 18) planning on attending this training must have a parent present with them at the training.
Advanced monitoring involves performing tests for nitrate-nitrogen, orthophosphate, turbidity, and streamflow using the Advanced kit which can be performed at the same sampling time and location as your monthly Core monitoring. To limit the duration of the in-person training, this training will require a prerequisite online module which must be completed before the day of the training. The prerequisite module should take no more than 1.5 hours to complete.
Due to COVID-19 we will be taking the following precautions:
- Maximum capacity of 10 individuals
- Training will be held outdoors
- Masks must be worn
- Social distance must be maintained as much as possible
- Individuals who are experiencing any COVID symptoms are asked to stay home
- Each trainee will have a bag with all the supplies they need so no supplies are shared
- Trainees are strongly encourage to bring hand sanitizer
