Meet and Greet begins at 6:30p followed by a Chapter business meeting at 7:00p. The presentation will follow the business meeting.
Event Summary:
NPSOT Fredericksburg Chapter meeting and presentation.
Event Description:
Sharon and Mel moved to the Hill Country from California in 2008. The first people they happened to meet were Jim and Priscilla Stanley. The Stanley’s passion for the Hill Country and native plants inspired Sharon to follow similar paths.
Sharon regularly volunteers at Riverside Nature Center, and participates in the Master Naturalist Pollinator Garden Assistance and Recognition Program (PGARP) and the Land Management Assistance Program (LMAP).
She’s also a very active volunteer in her HOA where she’s chair of a range and wildlife advisory group, and is involved in native plant gardening activities. Sharon has been a member of the Kerrville and Fredericksburg NPSOT chapters since 2015 and is currently serving as secretary on the Kerrville chapter board.
