Event Date: 1/27/2022
Event Time: 6:00p-8:00p
Event Summary:
Learn about edible native plants.
Event Description:
The San Antonio area has many unique edible native plants that have been used for thousands of years. However, modernization led to a reduced interest and need for the often-labor-intensive foodstuffs. Rising interest in foraging, eating locally, and regional terroir has recently led to a resurgence of personal and business interest in revitalizing these plants. This workshop will cover the history of select native plants and for each plant, registrants will be able to sample how it has been adapted for modern tastes. Ages 21+. This program is part of DreamWeek 2022.
