Learn how to identify birds.

Event Description:
Native birds do not confine themselves to any single garden, native or not. Still, there are essential connections between birds and the natural habitat – plants and other landscape features – that we will explore. This talk utilizes bird photos and sounds to explain behavior and life cycle. Identification tips for common bird species in will be described based on size and shape plus plumage patterns. Examples of native plants that provide needed food and cover will also be highlighted.
