Native bees are important pollinators and need our protection. Learn about these bees and how to make bee houses.
Event Description:
Pollinators and bees are facing many challenges, and are a necessary part of our ecosystem. Come and learn about our native bees and pollinators, and how to help them survive from our fun and entertaining presenter. After an informative talk, participants will be able to build a bee house for their own gardens.
Our Presenter, Molly Keck, is an integrated Pest Management Specialist with Texas A&M Agrilife Extension in Bexar County (San Antonio, Tx). Molly is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a Batchelor’s and Master’s degree in entomology, providing pest management and identification programs to Master Naturalist, Master Gardeners, the general public, school age students, and pest management professionals.
