Event Description:
This class will cover how Texas is planning for water supplies, water use, water conservation, droughts and all the difficulties expected as the state’s population is expected to double in the next 50 years. We will define the difference in surface water and groundwater regulations and how that impacts the use of water. Do you think you can help? Be part of the discussion.
Instructor David K. Harkins, Ph.D., has degrees in civil and petroleum engineering and is a registered engineer in Texas, Mississippi and Oklahoma.
