Webinar Summary:
Learn how to manage brush and improve wildlife habitat.
Webinar Description:
Got Brush? How can you manage it to benefit wildlife and habitat?
Most wildlife species are selective foragers, preferring to feed on a wide variety of plants rather than a few specific ones. Brush encroachment is common on Texas lands, threatening plant and wildlife diversity. It’s important that land managers be thoughtful about brush management before beginning a brush control campaign. Well planned brush management can improve the menu of escape cover and food plants for native wildlife and livestock.
This webinar overviews the many factors that landowners should consider before starting a brush management program.
