Event Description:
Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in Bexar, Atascosa, Guadalupe and Wilson Counties will be holding a white-tailed deer symposium on August 25 in La Vernia.

The following topics will include:

• Herd dynamics
• Deer nutrition and supplemental feeding
• Habitat management and food plots
• Integrating deer and livestock
• Wildlife management property tax valuation
• Chronic wasting disease
• Predator management
• Feral hog management
• Antler scoring/aging

Cost for the program is $50 and persons can register at https://tx.ag/WhitetailDeerSymposium. Registration can be done at the door or in advance with cash, check or credit card.

If paying by check, make sure to make it payable to Bexar Agriculture and Natural Resources office and mail the check to 3355 Cherry Ridge, Suite 212, San Antonio, TX 78230.
