Resources

The Hill Country Chapter serves the heart of the Texas Hill Country.  Our members are active in more than 80 volunteer projects in Bandera, Edwards, Gillespie, Kendall, Kerr, Kimble, Mason, Menard, Real, and San Saba counties with the potential to reach more than 100,000 residents.

Reading is a naturalist’s friend.  Instructional or entertaining, books and websites educate us and help us understand nature.

Interesting, relevant topics make our meetings meaningful.  Each month we host speakers who tell us about fascinating subjects and share experiences.  We thrive on captivating presentations.

Government agencies, nature organizations, nurseries, and other groups can provide expert assistance to Hill Country landowners.  Our chapter answers landowners’ questions through our Land Management Assistance Program.

Most of all being a Texas Master Naturalist is fun!
