State of Water Community Outreach


Llano Estacado Chapter of the Texas Master Naturalists and Sibley Nature Center is please to host a screening of the Texas Parks and Wildlife documentary series “The State of Water.” The State of Water series tells the story of water in Texas, one of the most critical issues facing our state today. The series will be screened over five weeks in the Sibley Nature Center Auditorium at 7 p.m. on Tuesdays Oct. 21st and 28th, and Nov. 4th, 11th and 18th.

“The State of Water” series chronicles the diverse water issues and threats facing our water resources and what people can do to protect this precious resource. Each documentary features stunning images of Texas water resources such as rivers, springs, bays, and estuaries plus interviews with a wide array of experts, stakeholders and policy makers.
