Ken’s departure celebration

Please join us on Saturday, October 26 for a very special gathering as we celebrate and say farewell to Ken, a deeply loved member of our Llano Estacado Master Naturalist family.
Ken has given countless hours to our chapter—keeping the books in perfect order as our treasurer, helping events run smoothly, sharing his knowledge in the field, and bringing kindness, humor, and enthusiasm to everything he’s done. His dedication and steady hand have touched every one of us, and while we’re overjoyed that he’ll soon be moving closer to his family, we know his absence will leave a big void in our group and in our hearts.
We’ll be combining two of Ken’s favorite things—butterflies and nature—for a Going Away Potluck, Butterfly Tagging, and BioBlitz at Betsy’s beautiful ranch, which serves as an incredible butterfly refuge.
