To initially certify and continue your certification as a Master Naturalist you need 40 Volunteer Hours per year. There are many ways to get these hours including volunteering to serve on a committee or as an officer, picking up trash through our Keep Midland Beautiful program, developing curriculum for our future Training Sessions or Educational Outreach, participating in a project such as the I-20 Butterfly Garden or Project Prairie Dog, leading children on the trails at Sibley Nature Center and much, much more. Whether you want to work alone or in a group, with adults or children, there are many ways to get Volunteer Hours, enjoy the outdoors and get a sense of satisfaction in making a difference in your community. See our Volunteer Opportunities List for the LETMN Chapter or look on our Calendar.
