LRMN 3rd Saturday BioBlitz

If you’re interested in a field trip to E.O. Sieke State Forest or Boykin Springs, we’re going!

We’ll be documenting (via iNaturalist photo observations) the various plant, bird, herp, and other species that are in our TMN chapter service area (Jasper & Newton counties). We will alternate destinations between the two natural areas.

You can use the iNaturalist app on your phone to upload observations OR bring a really nice camera and upload your photos to the iNaturalist website.

If you just want to explore another natural area in the Pineywoods, you are welcome to tag along! Come and learn from the experts, it’s what we’re here for!

Bring lunch, water, bug spray, sunscreen, field clothes, phone, camera, binoculars for birding, etc…
