Village Creek SP Trails Work Day

Village Creek State Park (Silsbee, TX) is hosting a volunteer workday. If you’d like to meet members from our neighboring TMN chapter (Sabine-Neches chapter), you will likely find them here!

“For this workday we will be finishing up the final touches on the Village Creek Trail (HELLO SWIM BEACH!!) and beginning work on reclaiming Tupelo Trail, which is a loop off of the creek trail. This will involve pruning, moving brush and smoothing the trail.
This workday is open to everyone of all ages and we provide all tools necessary. Volunteers are granted free entry to the park for the entire day, so bring your swim suit, enjoy the fruits of your hard work, and be the first ones to use the swim area!”
