NOTE: Due to COVID-19, meetings will be virtual via Zoom until in-person gatherings are determined to be safe. There will be no potluck. Meeting will start with the guest speaker at 6:30. All members, guests, and visitors are invited to the chapter’s monthly meetings. Visit with members, learn about the Texas Master Naturalist program, and be inspired by a special guest speaker each month. Members bring a dish for potluck dinner. Watch the calendar for meeting locations as they rotate throughout the three-county chapter area.

6:30 Speaker — Robert Slaughter – Planetary Bodies. Robert is a Process Improvement Facilitator, retired from Chaparral Steel/Gerdau, and now spending more time with his life-long interest in astronomy and science in general. Robert acquired his first telescope at 16 and has immersed himself in astronomy ever since.
