Species: Paspalum dilatatum
Family: Poaceae
Longevity: Perennial
Season: Warm
Origin: Introduced
Flowers: April – November

Description: A weedy grass of disturbed areas and lawns. Sometimes seeded as a pasture grass in the eastern part of our region. The spikelets are fringed with silky white hairs and occur in four rows along the inflorescence branch. It provides good forage for cattle and seeds are used by some wildlife species.
