Monthly Nature Hike – Scurrying the path of the Texas Horned Lizard

Join members for our Monthly Nature Hike to learn more about the Texas Horned Lizard.  Once common, this species is now rare over much of its range.  The hike will be at Copper Breaks State Park, south of Quanah, TX.  Meet at 7:30 am at the Bull Canyon Trailhead.  It takes about 1-1/2 hours to reach the park from Wichita Falls.

This will be a moderate hike of about 2-3 miles and will take approximately 2 hours on slightly rough, hilly terrain.  Bring: outdoor clothing, closed-toed shoes, water, sunscreen, hat, etc.
