Wildlife Water Basin – Pettigrew Academy

Wildlife Water Basin – Pettigrew Academy

Pettigrew Academy students constructed a wildlife water basin from concrete recently. It will be used with the gallon jug drip waters they had made earlier. They had already learned about water conservation measures and point versus non-point pollution as part of the Growing Up Wild program taught by Indian Trail Master Naturalists Eileen Berger and Sharon Lane. They are looking forward to resuming their study of wildlife and the ecosystem next school year.

Pettigrew Academy Student and Eileen Berger (ITMN) build a wildlife water basin.
