2011
In cooperation with Midlothian Parks Department and Girl Scout Troop 1741 installed Eastern Bluebird boxes
Planted Butterfly Garden (plants: Flame acanthus, Zexmenia, Zinnias, Frost weed, fall aster, Dill, Blue Salvia, Pipevine, Brazilian Verbena, Salvia Greggi ,Rue, Parsley, Butterfly Bush, Fennel, Gregg’s Blue mistflower, Lantana, Phlox, Tithonia Indigo spires, Turks’ cap, Cone flowers, frog fruit)
2012
We built 5 benches, a Bird Blind and water catchment feature , several ID plaques in the Bird Blind, a Butterfly ID for the butterfly garden. We had nature walks all summer. The Rayfields installed a bat house.
2013
This year we have built 2 NATIVE GRASS BEDS. We have installed Tree ID signs on 33 different trees.
We have worked with the BOY SCOUTS on clearing the brush around the parking lot.
