First step on the path to becoming a Master Naturalist is for applicants to complete the initial training, which consists of classroom sessions and field trips. All classes and trips are moderated by Rolling Plains chapter members and most are presented by faculty members of Midwestern State University’s science department.
The next training will begin March 6, 2025 and last through June 26, 2025. Classes will be on Thursday nights from 7:00 – 9:00 pm, at Midwestern State University’s Dillard College of Business Building, Rm 328, with some Saturday field trips. Classes will be Zoom/in person hybrids, but in person is preferred.
The cost for the training is $125 and includes all classes/field trips, textbook, and all printed materials.
