Become a Master Naturalist

First step on the path to becoming a Master Naturalist
In order to volunteer as a Master Naturalist, applicants must complete the initial training which consists of several classroom sessions and field trips. All classes and trips are moderated by Rolling Plains chapter members and most are presented by faculty members of Midwestern State University’s science department.

The next training will begin 5 March 2020 and last through 25 June 2020. Classes will be on Thursday nights from 7:00 – 9:00 pm, with some Saturday field trips.  Once the agenda is finalized, it will be posted here.

The cost for the training is $100 and includes all classes/field trips, text book and all printed materials.

To become a Texas Master Naturalist, please fill out a TMN-Application-2019 and mail it to 409 Chester Avenue, Wichita Falls, TX 76301. The application deadline is 1 March and the $100 fee must accompany the application. Please make checks payable to: Rolling Plains Texas Master Naturalists.
