Become a Master Naturalist

First step on the path to becoming a Master Naturalist
In order to volunteer as a Master Naturalist, applicants must complete the initial training which consists of several classroom sessions and field trips. All classes and trips are moderated by Rolling Plains chapter members and most are facilitated by faculty members of Midwestern State University’s science department.

The next training will begin 7 March 2017 and last through 4 May 2017…a training agenda will be posted in February of 2017.

The cost for the training is $100 and includes all classes/field trips, a binder and all printed materials.

Classes usually meet twice each week from 7:00-9:00 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays (there are some weekend field trips as well).

To become a Texas Master Naturalist, please fill out a TMN-Application-2017 and mail it to 409 Chester Avenue, Wichita Falls, TX 76301. The application deadline is 3 March and the $100 fee must accompany the application. Please make checks payable to: Rolling Plains Texas Master Naturalists.
