First step on the path to becoming a Master Naturalist
is for applicants to complete the initial training, which consists of several classroom sessions and field trips. All classes and trips are moderated by Rolling Plains chapter members and most are presented by faculty members of Midwestern State University’s science department.
The next training will begin March 2021 and last through June 2021. Classes will be on Thursday nights from 7:00 – 9:00 pm, at Midwestern State University’s Bolin Science Hall, Rm 320, with some Saturday field trips.
The cost for the training is $100 and includes all classes/field trips, text book, and all printed materials.
To become a Texas Master Naturalist, please fill out a TMN Application 2021 and mail it to Robert Mauk, 409 Chester Avenue, Wichita Falls, TX 76301. The application deadline is 1 March and the $100 fee must accompany the application. Please make checks payable to: Rolling Plains Texas Master Naturalists.
