A volunteer service to introduce the Bluestem Chapter ( 1 of the 48 chapters and only 15,000 members statewide) of the Texas Master Naturalist Program to the general public of Grayson County Texas and beyond.   “The Texas Master Naturalist Program’s mission is to develop a corps of well-informed volunteers to provide education, outreach, and service dedicated to the beneficial management of natural resources and natural areas within their communities for the State of Texas.”  Samples of The Bluestem Chapter service are to Eisenhower State Park, Texas Agrilife, Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge, school and senior citizen programs, Habitat for Humanity and many others in an effort to meet the mission of the Texas Master Naturalist program in Texas.   See you there!  We provide the literature, tent, banner (which may require setup) – please bring your own chair and refreshments.   8 AM to 12 NOON plus your travel time.
