Conservation Day Training by Tamra McGaughy, Ed.D. of Grayson County Agrilife.

Sept 28 (Thurs): 9:30 to 1:00 pm. at the Grayson County Courthouse Community Room (2nd floor):

This training will prepare you to help conduct education programs at various Grayson County schools during spring Conservation Days, which is sponsored by Agrilife and targeted to 3rd to 5th grade students. The presentations and activities are synched up with the curriculum for those grades and include topics such as Food Webs, Soil particles, Water Cycle, Water filtration, Wild Life, Fisheries, and Butterfly Migration. If you’ve participated in Conservation Days before, you know it is fun and rewarding, and the kids get pretty excited about it.
