Sherman Farmer’s Market – Second Saturdays

Volunteers needed for booth at Sherman Farmer’s Market

A great way to get your volunteer hours and spread the word about all the wonderful and worthy projects in which we participate, and encourage new membership and spread our Mission. We are only doing the 2^nd Saturday of each month since we have so many new opportunities for service. We want to be visible in the community but not spread too thin.

 Hours:

8 AM -12 noon (8-9 set up, 9-noon market)

 Duties:

Set up tent awning, table, hang banner, table covering and put out supplies, one person will keep track of how many people visit our table and report those numbers to Melissa. Tear down the setup and let Melissa or Shelly know who has it so we can pick it up. Please bring your own chair and refreshments.

Parking lot at Crockett and Houston Streets across from the Grayson County Courthouse, Sherman TX

 How to sign up:

I have created a TeamUp calendar for this. If you have volunteered at the Nature Nook at Hagerman it is the same app/website but a different calendar. There will be 4 open slots for each date. If spouses want to sign up together on the same line that is fine.
