Provide Information to Visitors of the Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center
Duties include greeting and welcoming all visitors and providing maps and website information to them. Answer questions about what to see and do at Hagerman. Habitat for Monarchs
On a brisk, sunny morning in early November, new homeowner Carla watched as several volunteers installed edging, prepared the soil, and planted native vegetation for what would become a Monarch Way Station in her front yard. Bluebird Trail Maintenance & Nest Box Monitoring
The Nestbox Program has been a well-established volunteer activity of the Friends of Hagerman since 2013. Every year volunteers are monitoring nearly 50 nestboxes on Harris Creek and Raasch Hiking Trails at Hagerman NWR and 30 nestboxes at Eisenhower State Park.
