Birds of Texas Nature Trackers at Garner State Park – 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the visitor center

Texas Nature Tracker project Birds of Texas.  Garner State Park provides the perfect environment to help collect data on wildlife populations through I Naturalist.  This provides us the opportunity to participate in citizen science as well as promote stewardship to the public. The park interpreter will provide an introduction into the program and help patrons download I naturalist. The goal is to introduce park visitors to birding and collect population data at the same time. TMN participants will then walk with guests to areas of the park and take pictures of birds then upload them. Smart phones with INaturalist downloaded are required.  If you cannot make this event any Texas Nature Project can be conducted at any time at any location in Texas. TPWD: Texas Nature Trackers
