Purple Martin Housing Data Collection at Castroville Regional Park

The Texas Master Naturalists – Brush y Canyons Chapter is collaborating with park management and Friends of CRP to improve, maintain and observe the Purple Martin Housing in the park. As of March 2026, we have added one 18 gourd rack to the park and cleaned 6 existing structures in the park for this season’s nesting. We hope to add additional updated housing structures to the park in the future.

Gather in Castroville on May 29 at 9 am to help contribute data on Purple Martins.
