Rock Creek Ranch Park is a new 300-acre City of Fort Worth park that is under development. Jeff Quayle, a field trip leader for the Fort Worth chapter of Native Prairies Association of Texas will lead a bioblitz to help the Park & Recreation Department gain a better understanding of the biodiversity at the park. Participants will be focusing on collecting valuable data for natural resource management using iNaturalist observations, which will be automatically uploaded to the RCRP iNaturalist project.

Species expected in this plant community: Amorpha fruticosa, Lygodesmia texana, Mirabilis linearis, Justicia americana, Cirsium texanum, Cirsium undulatum, Vernonia baldwinii, Silphium albiflorum, Stenaria nigricans, Leucospora multifida, Helenium microcephalum, Dalea aurea, Dalea compacta, Pediomelum tenuifolium, Pediomelum cuspidatum, Pediomelum linearifolium, Asclepias viridiflora, Asclepias viridis, Asclepias stenophylla, Oenothera glaucifolia, Oenothera berlandieri, Neptunia lutea, Teucrium canadense, Teucrium laciniatum, Callirhoe pedata, Salvia texana, Bifora americana, Engelmannia peristenia, Glandularia bipinnitifida and Warnockia scutellarioides.
