Meet at 8:45am at Mosque Point Park on Lake Worth, located at 8375 Cahoba Dr, Fort Worth, TX 76135. We will be exploring Mosque Point Park and Camp Leroy Shuman across the street. Your iNaturalist observations will be automatically uploaded to the Camp Shuman/Mosque Point Park iNaturalist project.

In the evening, starting around 8pm, Sam Kieschnick will have a mothing event at the shelter at Mosque Point Park.

Species expected in this plant community: Yucca necopina, Yucca pallida, Penstemon cobaea, Penstemon laxiflorus, Ungnadia speciosa, Tridens chapmanii, Lantana strigocamera, Viburnum rufidulum, Hymenopappus artemisiifolius, Indigofera miniata, Heterotheca subaxillaris, Fraxinus albicans, Celtis reticulata, Quercus stellata, Symphoricarpos orbiculatus, Commelina erecta, Tradescantia ohiensis, Rubus trivialis, Erigeron canadensis, Schizachyrium scoparium, Panicum virgatum, Sorghastrum nutans and Neltuma glandulosa.
