Birding in the Backyard of the SFA Gardens

We need volunteers! SFA Gardens is hosting a family fun event with indoor and outdoor activities for folks to learn about birds & birding in East Texas. The hard work has already been done. Now we need staff. This is a great opportunity for Master Naturalists to ease into teaching youth educational activities since the activities and resources are prepared and set up for you. Experienced birders are needed for leading bird walks, helping people identify birds, and helping people learn how to use eBird, iNaturalist, etc.

This volunteer opportunity is approved for volunteer service hours including travel time (as long as the time worked is longer than the travel time included).
