iNaturalist Introduction Lecture

Tyler Nature Center

Tuesday, October 20th from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Open to the Public

Our own Lindsey Smith is an iNaturalist Ambassador based in Lindale. The lecture will center on posting observations on a tablet, notebook, laptop, or desktop computer, only briefly mentioning the smartphone app.

People in the East Texas area have been recording local wildlife through iNaturalist, and those observations are now part of valuable scientific research. If you love nature and want to find out about what you have seen around you, please bring one of your digital nature photos (flower, insect, tree, mammal, butterfly, dragonfly, etc.) and a laptop or tablet computer with you Lindsey will explain how you can become involved with nature through the global iNaturalist free application. Or just come and take notes!

Invite your friends! Learn how you can use iNat on your computer to do so much more than is available on your phone app.
