NETFO Field Trip
NETFO will NOT have a chapter meeting in October due to schedule conflicts.
Saturday, Oct 3rd, 8am – Noon
Fort Sherman Dam Recreational Area on Lake Bob Sandlin
David Brotherton will lead a field trip with migrating shorebirds and waterfowl as the target species. The field trip will start at 8:00 AM at the Fort Sherman Dam Recreational Area on Lake Bob Sandlin. Google “Titus County Fresh Water Supply District #1” in your maps app to locate the recreational area. When you turn off of County Road 3417 onto Fort Sherman Dam Road, look for the ‘old’ boat ramp on your left. We will meet David in the parking lot for that boat ramp. After birding around the recreational area, we will head to various locations to look for the waterfowl. The field trip should conclude around noon.
