Odolympics

The Dragonfly Society of the Americas, Sociedad de Odonatología Latinoamericana and Odonata Central are partnering to conduct the Odolympics 2023. The goal is to record as many species of dragonflies and damselflies from as many places as possible.
Want to observe with a group? Lindsey Smith plans to lead anyone that wants to join him on Saturday August 26, at the Mineola Nature Preserve. Group will meet by the pavilion at 8:15AM and anticipate this walk to last 3 hours, circling 5 ponds on the walk (may take longer than 3 hours).
Bring plenty of water to drink, it will be HOT. Restrooms are available.
Odolympics is a chapter approved project. Record your project time under “Chapter Data Collection Projects” noting Odolympics or under “iNaturalist” noting Odolympics.
