Tyler Audubon Society 2nd Annual Hawk Watch

Join us for our Second Annual Tyler Audubon Hawk Watch at the Tyler Nature Center! September is one of the best times of year to observe migrating raptors, and we’ll be watching from the pavilion overlooking the pond behind the visitor center.
What to Bring:
- Camp chair
- Binoculars
- Lunch or snacks (optional)
- Something to drink
We’ll have water and a few snacks available for everyone as well.

Parking: Please use the Front Parking Lot, which is the first right after turning onto the park road from FM 848. Restrooms are conveniently located nearby.
No prior experience identifying hawks is necessary! Whether you’re an experienced birder or just curious about raptor migration, we’d love to have you join us.
Please Note: The Tyler Archery Club will also be hosting an event at the Nature Center that day. This will not affect the Hawk Watch, but the wooded trail system will be closed to birders during the event.
