Bellwood Lake City Park Cleanup & Birding Extravaganza
Saturday, September 5 | 8:00 a.m.
Join us as we help keep one of our local parks beautiful while enjoying a morning of birding!
Meeting Location: City Park parking lot
What to Bring:
- Gloves
- Sturdy shoes
- Hat
- Bug spray
- Binoculars (for birding afterward)
Trash grabbers and trash bags will be provided. We’ll spend approximately 30–60 minutes picking up litter, followed by drinks and light snacks (also provided). Afterward, we’ll explore the park and Bellwood Lake in search of migrating birds. Fall migration should be underway, so we may see some exciting species passing through East Texas!
Everyone is welcome—whether you’d like to help with the cleanup, join the bird walk, or both.
