The Tyler Trees Committee and the City of Tyler Urban Forestry Division will host our annual Arbor Day celebration on Nov. 23, 2024! This shift from January to November isn’t just a random choice – it’s all about syncing up with Texas Arbor Day, the optimal time for tree planting in Texas. Plus, the weather can be milder in November, making for a much more enjoyable experience for everyone involved. Let’s come together to plant, care for, and celebrate trees at Noble E. Young Park.
