Just as the natural world thrives with biodiversity, our Texas Master Naturalist Program is dedicated to engaging all audiences in conservation, education and stewardship.
John Findeisen, team leader for TPWD’s Brookland Aquatic Invasive Species/ Aquatic Habitat Enhancement Team, will talk about invasive plants (such as Giant Salvinia and Common Salvinia) and how they are being managed, invasive mussels, and non-native fish introductions.
Sam Kieschnick is hosting a three day BioBlitz in our area October 1-3. Everything Sam does is fun and very educational.
