Coordinates meals and refreshments for meetings and special events

Maintains and utilizes a form or process for members to request that a program be considered for AT Credit.

Maintains and utilizes a form and process for members to require approval of a new VS project. Coordinates with the membership committee to add or modify volunteer opportunities in VMS. Ensure that a complete description of every volunteer service project is accessible to all chapter members.

Plans an annual program of chapter participation in public events to showcase ETCMN, TMN mission, goals, and programs. Develops new educational programs, coordinates in-person outreach events, keeps material inventory for chapter use

Plans meetings and lines up speakers to talk about key subjects relating to Nature in East Texas

Plans and implements basic training for Master Naturalists in training

Chapter membership roster, volunteer management system, member certification, achievement awards, and chapter merchandise management

Ensure all members are trained on using VMS and all member profiles are current. Manage the chapter VMS for reporting VS and AT hours.

Prepares monthly emails to members that relay meeting dates, events, news, and volunteer opportunities.

Compile, edit, design, and lay out the monthly newsletter for the ETCMN

Documents chapter activities and events either by photo stills or videos for the chapter archives and social media

Blog, newspaper publicity, partner and local community relationships, marketing

Manages social media, including public and private Facebook pages, Instagram, and other social media platforms

Manages and updates the website for the ETCMN

This is the president or an appointed board member to work as a chapter liaison with the TMN State program coordinator.

The representative represents the current class as a board member, attending board and chapter meetings. They report chapter business to the current training class and talk to subsequent training classes about selecting a training class representative.
