2021 Ennis Bluebonnet Festival

Ennis Wildflower Walk at Kachina Prairie

Celebrating 69 years of Bluebonnet Trails, the City of Ennis hosted the 2021 Bluebonnet Festival on April 16-18, 2021. Indian Trail Master Naturalists took part with a series of wildflower walks at Kachina Prairie. In true Texas spring style our Friday walks at 1pm and 3pm had to be cancelled due to rain. However, walks on Saturday (10am, noon, 2pm, and 4pm) and Sunday (1pm and 3pm) were packed full of visitors eager to enjoy the prairie. More than 800 people came and walked those 2 days! Wow! We can’t wait for next year.

Thank you to Charlie Grindstaff and Jim Patak for chairing this event.
