2022 Ennis Bluebonnet Festival

April 8-10, 2022

Indian Trail Master Naturalists helped the City of Ennis celebrate 70 years of Bluebonnet Trails by hosting wildflower walks at Kachina Prairie during the 2022 Bluebonnet Trails Festival. Over 560 adults and 108 children took a stroll around the prairie and learned about native wildflowers, why Kachina Prairie is home to a bison, and how they can help bring a little wild to their own home.

Thank you to Jim Patak, June McDarby, and Charlie Grindstaff for organizing the set-up and walks.
