2022 Harvest Moon Celebration

September 10, 2022
Kachina Prairie, Ennis.

In honor of Texas Land Conservancy’s 40th anniversary, TLC along with Indian Trail Master Naturalist hosted a Harvest Moon Celebration at Kachina Prairie. Kachina is permanently preserved from development and this 30 acre undisturbed Blackland Prairie remnant was the perfect place to enjoy a warm, full moon night. 65 guests gathered around the campfire to enjoy poetry from David Smith, trivia fun, and hear more about TLC and their work in Texas. Thank you to the Texas Astronomical Society for bringing a telescope to view the Moon and Jupiter.

Thank you Amber & Sean from TLC and Jim Patak for all your hard work. Photos by Joshua Fread.
