2022 International Observe the Moon Night

Saturday, October 1, 2022.
Mockingbird Nature Park.

It was a beautiful night to observe, celebrate, and learn more about our moon and stars. Indian Trail Master Naturalists were excited to host a night of star-gazing and solar-system related crafts & activities. A big thank you to Tex Frossard and John Price & the Texas Astronomical Society for bringing telescopes that gave us great views of the Moon, Saturn, and Jupiter. David Smith, poet laurite, also entertained the crowd of 68 guests, including 23 children.

Thank you Wendy Sheppard and Denise King for organizing this event.
