Indian Trail Master Naturalist’s were excited to once again co-host the Mayor’s Winter Walk with the Midlothian Parks Department. It was a beautiful, chilly day to welcome the community to their local hiking trail. Members presented information on native trees at several tables: including how to measure a tree’s age, samples of branches, how to view Juniperus virginana with a magnifying glass, and tree booklets for the kids.
