Flight. In the wind with the avian wildlife of Ellist County, Texas
By Jim West
Clouded Sulpher
Northern Harrier, hunting mode.
Flight in the wild takes a multitude of forms. It can be a means of escape from one predator or a journey into a trap set by another one. For those terrestrials who bear witness to the 'how did they do that' wizardry of the airborne among us, it's a source of wonder while, for the participants, it may be a life or death struggle. Flight is, above all else, the grace of life on the wing.
