Masters of Texas Nature

Daniel Rios

Bison preserve prairies, squirrels grow forests, beavers build wetlands…  This presentation will explore various masters of Texas nature and the many ways they have adapted to do so.  It will also dive into how we can learn from them to become Masters of Texas Nature ourselves.

 

Daniel Rios Daniel Rios graduated from Texas A&M- Commerce with a degree in Wildlife Management and Conservation. He is currently the Resource Specialist for the Ray Roberts Lake State Park Complex in charge of 6,600 acres of natural resources. His job duties include restoring prairies, managing forests, and monitoring wetlands. He has over 8 years of park and resource experience working for private, city, and state parks.
